2022 Annual Meeting

First County FCU is served by an all-volunteer Board of Directors -- one more way we keep our loan rates and fees down as a member-owned institution.

The Nominations Committee has filed the following nominations for a position on the Board of Directors (3-year term) with the Secretary of the Board:

Jeff Cates

Jeff retired from Delaware Dynamics several years ago, where had been employed for over 40 years.​ He has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2004, and served on the Supervisory Committee for a number of years before that. Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, kayaking various bodies of water, and biking the many trails in the area. He is also very active in his church.

Nominations by Petition

Members in good standing of the credit union who desire to ​be nominated for a three-year term on the Board of Directors must submit a petition signed by 1% of the membership (XXX members) to:

Petition must be submitted no later than [DATE], 2022. Accompanying the petition must be a statement of qualifications, biographical data, a photo of the nominee, and a signed statement from the nominee stating that he/she is agreeable to the nomination and will serve if elected.

The election of members to the Board of Directors will be held during the Annual Business Meeting. There will be no nominations from the floor and no election by ballot where there is only one nominee per position to be filled. Members eligible to vote are those who are shown on their account as the primary member.
